I’m Yani Castro, I am a registered Naturopath, Herbalist, Remedial Massage Therapist and Clinic Director and Founder.

Originally from Cuba, I made the decision to immigrate to New Zealand in 2002, It is a place  I now call my forever home. I am a proud mother of a very energetic son who encouraged me to work hard, and to follow my naturopathic dream.

My journey to Naturopathy began shortly after I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), an autoimmune condition where the body’s immune system attacks its own tissue, leading to debilitating body aches and inflammation. I was determined to learn more about this disease and that determination lead me to study Naturopathy. I have since graduated from South Pacific College Of Natural Medicine with a Bachelor of Natural Medicine.

I am passionate about sharing my own experiences and knowledge of natural medicine, making it my mission to empower those who are open and willing to learn the world of natural and holistic health solutions.I have worked alongside great naturopaths and natural health practitioners were I gained the knowledge and confidence to practice and direct my own holistic health clinic.

My goal is to work with individuals to help them achieve better health, improved vitality and restore balance to their lives through natural and holistic methods. I have a special interest and clinical experience with autoimmune and gastrointestinal related issues.

Outside of working one on one with my clients, you can find me keeping up to date on the latest natural health research and innovations. I love learning about new things and I am committed to continue developing my knowledge to offer the best support to my clients.
